About Joyce:She is the founder and owner of "A Peaceful Solution" Organizing and "Style Solutions" wardrobe/fashion assistance in Oklahoma. Joyce has always had a "passion forfashion and to organize everything," which has been apparent throughout her lifetime.
Many years ago, Joyce married her college sweetheart; three children made their lives complete. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years and that didn't leave much time for organizing. As she operated a 'mom's shuttle' to Little League practices, ballet, cheerleading, other sports, church activities, Joyce told her children, "It's ok. We'llclean things up when we get back. We're going to be late!"(Does that sound familiar?)
Time passed quickly and soon Joyce's children were grown. Those hectic, yet wonderful years were gone. She didn't regret the time spent with family, rather than worrying about cluttered bedrooms. Yes, it was still there---the all-too-familiar clutter of those busy years!JOYCE UNDERSTANDS HOW BUSY LIFESTYLES LEAD TO CLUTTER AND DISORGANIZATION......WHICH CAN EASILY OVERTAKE US AND OUR FAMILY!
It was time for new goals. In addition to returning to the office, Joyce was determined to tackle those messes of the too-busy-lifestyle years. As she reflected, she vowed to "help to make a difference in someone else's life" and to develop her lifelong "passion for organizing." Today, Joyce shares her abilities and helps other busy mothers, single parents, senior adults and business owners. She offers a wide variety of organizing services to help everyone!On occasion, Joyce enjoys speaking to various groups and presents a light-hearted, yet serious and professional approach to consulting, assisting, solving clutter and time management problems. She shares insights into Getting and Staying Organized, aswell as Wardrobe & Style solutions.
Volunteer Experience Joyce has volunteered for many years in varied ministries, which she considers a vital part of her life. She currently participates in various volunteer activities and shares her experience in Project/Event/Activity Management by helping others plan various events. Recently, for several years she has been the coordinator of the annual Ministry & Missions Fair Event at her church, works in the Special Events ministry, and active in the adult choir. She assists her pastors in organizing projects.
Professional Experience Joyce offers over 20 years of experience in varied office atmospheres. Her professional expertise includes Office Management & Administration, Executive Assistant, Business Administration, Personnel Management & Supervision, and Project/Event/Activity Management. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma and also studied courses of the American Institute of Banking and Business. Joyce's experience includes banking, corporate business, event security business, commercial/business law assistance, and as a church ministry assistant.
She is experienced in the management hiring/interview process and offers resume' and interview tips, including wardrobe/attire consultancy for job applicants. Joyce has assisted ladies of varied ages in their quest for an updated wardrobe style. She has an eyefor style and design; enjoys helping clients in the decision-making process of uncluttering their closets:"what to keep ortoss" and "what to wear" for various occasions to complete their personal, individual "look."
Through the years, Joyce has continued to develop her talent fororganizing. She has studied and searched numerous organizing resources and various seminars. Her recent continuing professional development includes pursuing fashion/image/wardrobe consultancy and studies in Fashion Merchandising. Joyce is a member of the Nat'l Assn. of Female Executives (NAFE), American Business Women's Assn.(ABWA), and is listed with Get Organized Now! and professional organizing sites. Joyce is a member of the Faithful Organizers (Christian professional organizers) of Oklahoma, which is also a national group.
